Layering a black t-shirt. By Artem Varnitsin

On some subliminal level, we feel that elaborate style or complicated clothes are required. The fact is that if you look closely at some of the most fashionable people, you will see that they work hard to construct a seasonal capsule wardrobe full of fundamentals. This helps you to gradually fill your closet with items that will look attractive when imaginatively paired together. The greatest method to experiment, though, is with textures, tonal play, and layering. Begin with the fundamentals and work your way up to patterns, colors, and styles. Continue reading to learn more about how to layer your basic black t-shirt.

Here are 5 ways to layer your black t-shirt:

1) Blazer

Begin with a simple, well-fitting black jacket. Keep a blazer on hand if you’re attempting to transition from day to night or from casual to work suitable. It offers the needed formal touch. This outfit may be dressed up with skirts and trousers or dressed down with various designs and brands of denim.

2) Denim Jacket

I adore a good denim jacket. Nothing dresses up an outfit like this wardrobe staple. Even if the appearance is kept casual, your accessories may make a big impact. So, be clear about the feeling you want to convey and perform appropriately. For example, if you’re going to a fashion week presentation, you may choose a patterned or brightly colored, large handbag. Over-the-top earrings and clean makeup will definitely make you stand out, especially when coupled with a black t-shirt.

3) Dress

Wear a black tee over or beneath skirts; black tees look best with strappy slip dresses. It gives one’s appearance a vintage feel. This ensemble would be complete with sneakers and boots. If the weather permits, you can always combine this outfit with a blazer and a jacket of your choice.

4) Dungarees

Personally, I am not a fan of how overalls look on me, but I like how other ladies can pull them off easily. Depending on the occasion, wear patterned dungarees or denim overalls with sneakers or pointed heels. Another option for layering this look is to add an extra layer with a cardigan or jacket of any sort.

5) Shirt

You may pair your black t-shirt with a flannel shirt, a pattern, or a solid color shirt. To spice up this outfit, I would stack bracelets and layer necklaces. Otherwise, this is the ideal casual appearance for any woman. You may also wrap your shirt around your waist, a long-lasting fashion trend. If you want to take it a step further, you might put your t-shirt over your shirt, knotting your tee around the waist and leaving your shirt unbuttoned from the waist down.

What I’m trying to say is that these are only a few different ways to wear a black t-shirt. I only chose to mention them since I believe most women already have the majority of these essentials in their closet. You can, however, wear a trench coat, puffer jacket, bomber jacket, or kimono. If you’re the adventurous kind, you’ll drape a scarf over your shirt, a bandeau, crop-top, bralette, the possibilities are infinite. And there are no restrictions, so wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable, and if you’re feeling worried, just Google for some ideas.
